Kurzik wearing Luxon armor?
Sorry if this has been asked...the search function on the site has been disabled. I have been playing GW for about a year but just picked up Factions...I feel like I am just learning parts of the game again.
I am in a guild that decided to go Kurzik. I really would like to get Luxon armor for my elementalist. Is there any way at all to do this? Can I find a Luxon to buy the armor and give it to me and if so does it change to Kurzik if I put it on? As a Kurzik...what armors can I NOT be able to wear? Thanks all. |

Sure, you can finish the game as a Kurz, and then go back to play the Luxon side of things. I started out as Luxon and I am wearing 15k Kurzik armor.

i'm pretty sure that you can get luxon armor as long as you have more luxon faction then kurzick faction that is unspent on your char. I'm a luxon and i had 10k kurzick faction and 8k luxon all unspent, and i was unable to buy anything from the luxons but the kurzicks welcomed me with open arms, and the ability to buy Kurzick armor.

You can wear all (ele) armors. You only need to have more unspent luxon faction than you have with the kurzicks, so you can talk to the crafter.

Great thanks for the info...I am confused about the whole choosing sides thing.
So even though I am a Kurzick I can do Luxon missions to get "points"? Then I spend them to get items from that side? Sorry...parts of Factions confuse me |

Yes, all you need for the merchants to "speak" to you is having more factions points related to said merchant.
If you have more faction points on luxon side then only luxon merchants will talk to you and kurzick will tell you to gtfo. Now, if you manage to get more kurzick points they will now talk to you and luxons won't. I'm luxon wearing 15k Kurzick Armor too, soo yeah =) |

the whole "choosing sides" thing doesn't really matter at all except for your Guild. It has nothign to do with a personal aspect really.
On a personal aspect, the Faction Points you have accumulated determine what side you can buy stff/craft, etc.. on. So in order to buy Luxon armor, you must have accumulated more Luxon points than Kuzrick points. You can have 2000 Luxon points and 1500 Kurzick points, but since you have more Luxon points you can only talk to the Luxons and Kurzicks will ignore you, regardless of what Faction your Guild Chose. As far as redeeming points goes, there's a Factions "rewards" guy in each respectable area. You can trade your points in for Jade or Amber. depending on which area. Amber is Kurzicks crafting material, Jade is Luxon. It costs 1000 faction each tiem you take reward from teh Rewards guy. --- ALSO, you can trade 5000 faction points to a guy (can't remember his name) in either town and it'll give Faction points for your guild. Of course this is poinltess unless your guild is trying to gain control over a territory as these just continue to deplete over time. I hope thishelped a little and didn't confuse you even more |

No, this info is fantastic. The way I thought it was presented was that the guild being Kurzick had me stuck only doing Kurz quests and dealing with Kurz. It is great to know that I can control which side I work on with EACH toon. I was afraid that ALL my toons would be Kurz because my guild leader decided on that.
Thanks a lot. I am real happy |

A word of caution that you lose 500 faction with the other side when turning in your points for jade/amber. I'm currently grouping those characters that need amber and those who need jade and doing all of the amber characters now while waiting later to get armor for my jade characters.
